The twanging of life
Sixth part : The doors are open
Sixth part : The doors are open
It is hard to move forward when you don’t know where you are headed or why, Allah gives us the answers to most basic life’s questions like where did I come from ?, what is my purpose here ? and what happens when I die ? .. knowing the answers gives us hope and helps us to find peace and joy by believing well in our religion.
Your life didn’t begin at birth and it will not end at death, before you were young your imagination lived with your outlook for the future which made you in that time to be happy, you knew it and it knew and believed you and of course it was a happy time during which you were understood the secret of happiness and the path to true joy but just as most of us left our dreams and our outlook for the future when we grow up .. one thing that makes this life so hard sometimes is that we are out of life's hope, not only this but also we can’t remember our pre-earth life when you were inside your mother which means we have to operate by faith rather than sight .. Allah didn’t say it would be easy but he promises us he would be there when we need him even though it feels like sometimes we are not alone in our journey.
Allah’s volition for you is beautiful and simple and he wants you to have joy and to become more like perfect, that doesn’t mean he expects you to be perfect .. he knows you will not be but he does accept that while you are here on earth you try to do the best of your ability to be more as he wants and that you learn and grow from your mistakes, each time you make a poor choice with painful consequences, that decision leads to unhappiness, sometimes immediately, sometimes much later .. likewise, choosing good eventually leads to happiness and helps you to become more like exceptional man or exceptional woman and regardless of what you do, regardless of what you don’t have in this life, your deepest, most lasting happiness will come from knowing your outlook for the future and following it and yes we often fall into the trap of thinking a new car, job promotion, beauty makeover or some level of fame will make us happy and often they do for a time but it never lasts because wealth, power, beauty and fame simply don’t bring lasting happiness, as much as we wish they would so rather, true happiness comes from following your outlook for the future and developing the things have relationship with it such as goodness, love, justice and mercy.
It comes from serving others and helping them to follow the example and teachings of Mohamed PBUH, it comes from overcoming the appetites of our human bodies and instead following the promptings of the faith and it comes from working hard and having a healthy lifestyle, friends, family, and personal achievements.
